The 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act recently took effect on July 10, marking an important step toward expanding affordable housing opportunities across the country. While the new federal legislation provides additional tools to support housing development, Nebraska housing industry leaders agree that it won't solve the state's housing shortage without addressing ongoing local challenges.
